As the name suggests, the main function of a Corporate or Commercial Security Officer is to provide security for the safe working environment within an office, factory or warehouse premises.
Since some properties are located away from the main town in remote places, the security officer becomes a very important person within the team.
Their roles within properties are varied, and specifically tailored to the client's needs, but may include some of the following:
- reception duties
- manned guarding - static
- access control to the site
- CCTV monitoring
- record keeping of entry/exit of contractors to the site
- weekly fire alarm tests
- adhering to the assignment instructions provided by the client
